A Look at the Ruby Red Honda City Era (2015–2021)

I am picking up my brand new ride today!!

It’s a new Honda City RS in Pearl White. The last time I got a car was December 2015. It was also a Honda City in Ruby Red. I will recap the previous 5 years of my life and see where the next 5 years will be.

With every car, it brings along good memories.

Here we go.

2015–2021

The last time I got a car was because I felt my life was going stale. I had no energy, and no enthusiasm as all of that was waning.

So I told mom that I needed to get a new start. Previously, I was also driving a Honda City that was silver in color.

Back then, before the Ruby Red Honda City, I was hoping to get the HR-V. But since the price difference was RM40k, I thought it was best to save up and get back to a City but with full specs.

This time around, I thought of changing to a CR-V. But the buttons on the wheel are very plastic-ky. The design also seemed like it was for the 60+-year-old crowd. Or baby boomers rather.

So, I thought of getting the HR-V this time in 2021. I checked online, and there was a new one coming out that has Honda Connect. At first, I was thinking of waiting for it to come out before I change it in 2022. That is…
